This Privacy Policy explains how I, Fabricio Espinoza Mora (“I,” “me,” “my”), collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use Restoran DIY, including the website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

I operate the Services in a personal capacity from Costa Rica. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Services and related communications.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should not use the Services.

Depending on how you use the Services, I may collect the following categories of information:

Information You Provide Directly

account information, such as your name, email address, phone number, profile photo, and login details;
business information you choose to publish through the Services, such as restaurant name, menus, product information, business hours, addresses, images, and contact details;
subscription and billing information you provide to complete purchases or manage a paid plan;
communications you send to me, including support requests, feedback, and other messages;
content you upload or submit through the Services.

Information Collected Automatically

log data, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, language, referring pages, and access times;
device and app usage information, such as identifiers, session activity, crash-related information, and interactions with the Services;
authentication and session information required to keep you signed in and protect restricted areas.

Information From Third Parties

I may receive information from third-party service providers that support the Services, including identity, infrastructure, storage, analytics, payment, mapping, and app distribution providers.

If you download the app through the Apple App Store, Apple may collect certain information under its own privacy terms and policies. I do not control Apple’s separate data practices.

process subscriptions, transactions, and related records;
store and display restaurant, menu, and location data;

Firebase Authentication for account and sign-in features;
Firestore and related database services for application data;
Firebase Storage for stored files and media;
Apple MapKit to display business location maps;
Apple App Store for app distribution, billing, and related platform services.

These third parties may process data on my behalf or under their own policies, depending on the service involved.

Payments

If you purchase a subscription or other paid feature, payment-related information may be processed by third-party payment or platform providers. I do not necessarily store full payment card details directly.

Location Information

The Services may display restaurant or business location coordinates and map data. Based on the current implementation, this is used to show location information published in the Services.

Unless a feature explicitly requests it in the future, this Privacy Policy does not state that I collect your precise device location by default.

I may share personal information only as reasonably necessary in the following situations:

with service providers and infrastructure providers that help operate the Services;
when you choose to publish business or profile information through the Services;
to comply with legal obligations, lawful requests, or court orders;
to protect rights, security, property, users, or the public;
in connection with a business transfer, if the Services or related assets are sold, assigned, or transferred.

I do not sell personal information for money in the ordinary course of operating the Services.

Data Retention

provide the Services;

Apple App Store Notice

If you use the app on Apple devices or download it through the Apple App Store:

Apple may collect and process information under its own privacy policy and platform terms;
some app permissions, device settings, and privacy controls are managed by Apple and your device operating system;
you should review Apple’s privacy disclosures in addition to this Privacy Policy.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If I make material changes, I may update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the Services.

Your continued use of the Services after an update becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
